－Please introduce yourself. 自己紹介をお願いします。

My name is Hiro Kirk and I currently live in Kyoto. I'm half Japanese and half American, and have family in both countries.
私の名前はカーク洋です。現在京都に住んでおります。日本とアメリカのハーフで日米両方に家族が住んでいます。

－Where are you from? 出身はどちらですか？

I was born in Kumamoto, Japan.
熊本生まれです。

－How long have you been teaching? 教師歴は？

I've been teaching for about 4 years.
4年以上あります。

－What made you come to Japan? 日本に来た経緯は？

I came to Japan to be closer to some of my family, make new friends, and experience new things.
日本の家族の近くに住み、新しい友達を作り、新しい経験をするために来ました。

－What do you do in your free time? お休みの日は何をして過ごしますか？

I like to read, watch horror movies, draw, and exercise during my free time.
I'd very much like to get into screen printing.
読書、映画鑑賞(特にホラー)、描画、トレーニングが好きです。これからはスクリーンプリンティングをやりたいです。

－What do you do to make sure that students are satisfied with your lessons?
生徒様方にレッスンを楽しんでもらうために心がけている事は何ですか？

I prepare as much as I can for any questions that may be asked about the material. During class I create an atmosphere where everyone can feel heard and make mistakes comfortably.
教材について聞かれる可能性のある質問を考えます。そして、授業中誰もが自己表現をし、間違えることができるような雰囲気づくりを心がけます。

－Please give some suggestions for people who want to improve their English?
英語を勉強している皆さんに、上達するためのアドバイスをおねがいします。

Input! Listen to podcasts, read books, watch movies, and listen to music in English. Use new vocabulary and expressions learned in writing or in conversations. Hopefully I'll be there to participate in those conversations.
インプット！普段から英語のポッドキャストや音楽を聴き、読書をし、映画を観る。そして新しく学んだ単語や表現を作文や会話で使ってみる。それらの会話に自分も混ざることができたら幸いです。
